Mission Statement

The primary mission of the Camp Verde Public Works Department is to provide and maintain, within the Town’s available resources, adequate and safe transportation infrastructure in a fair and equitable manner; while supporting the Town’s economic agenda. The department provides engineering services and reviews and inspects public projects for the Town. Furthermore, we are striving to develop and maintain efficient storm water facilities and educate the citizens to minimize the impact of storm events and decrease pollution of waterways.

Welcome

Welcome to the Town of Camp Verde Public Works Department. Public Works consists of five major functional divisions which include Engineering, Streets, Storm Water, Waste Water Treatment Plant and Parks and Recreation.

The Town Engineer is responsible for the planning of public works infrastructure and assures compliance with Town standards and code requirements for off-site construction.

The Streets Department provides for the care, repair, and maintenance of all Town-owned streets, alleys, curbs, gutters, sidewalks & drainage structures.

Goals

Future growth of the Department will likely include the additional responsibilities of utilities management for the water company; expanding our staff to include divisions for Storm Water Prevention, Utilities and Engineering.
