The Community Development Director responsibilities are to plan, direct, manage and oversee the activities of the Community Development Department which includes Planning & Zoning, Building, Code Enforcement, The Board of Adjustment & Appeals, and the Planning & Zoning Commission. The Community Development Director provides technical information to the Town Council and to the Town Manager.

Town of Camp Verde Housing Rehabilitation Program

The Town of Camp Verde is looking for qualifying local homeowners who need assistance with essential home repairs.

A Notice of Funds Availability (NOFA) has been announced by the Arizona Department of Housing (ADOH), for funding through the State Housing Fund, Home Investment Partnerships Program. The NOFA is for owner occupied housing rehabilitation programs to assist low-income households with necessary repairs. These include resolving code violations, safety issues, weatherization, heating and cooling appliances, roofing and access for people with disabilities in both site built or manufactured homes.

The work must remedy building code violations or health and safety issues to qualify for assistance. Homeowners must have incomes below the area median income. Certain households, such as those with minor children present, the elderly, or those with disabilities are eligible for priority consideration.

Applications are available at the Community Development Dept. located at 473 S Main St., Suite 108. Contractors interested in bidding on projects also can contact the Community Development Department for information regarding bid dates.
