The Town of Camp Verde applies license and fee requirements to businesses in compliance with Arizona Revised Statutes. The purpose of the Business License to track business activity that occurs or is transacted within the Town limits. The Business License application assists local businesses by making available valuable contact information and type of business to entities such as the Chamber of Commerce and/or other agencies or groups that are involved in the growth of business, as well as contact information in the event of emergencies. The fee is set by Resolution on an annual basis and covers actual cost of processing, tracking, and filing of the license.
Camp Verde is a program city with the Arizona Department of Revenue (ADOR). Transaction Privilege Taxes are paid to the ADOR on behalf of Camp Verde. The TPT number is obtained through the ADOR in Phoenix and is required before a business license is issued. Effective July, 2012 the total tax rate in the town limits is 9.35%. The Use Tax rate is 9.35%.
