Our Governance & Leadership

The Town of Camp Verde functions under a Council-Manager governance structure. Legislative authority is vested in a seven-member Town Council, which includes a voting Mayor, a Vice-Mayor, and five Council Members. To promote stable and enduring representation, the Mayor serves a two-year term, whereas the remaining Council Members serve four-year staggered terms. The council appoints the Town Manager, Town Attorney, and Magistrate to maintain an orderly government and administration of the Town affairs as prescribed by the constitution, applicable state and federal laws, and locally adopted ordinances.

Public Participation

Transparency is the cornerstone of our administration. We encourage you to participate in the civic process by attending our regular Council meetings:

• When: 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month at 6:00 p.m. (Unless otherwise noted on the calendar).
• Where: Council Chambers, 473 S. Main Street, Suite 106, Camp Verde, AZ, 86322
• How: The meetings are open to the public in person and can also be attended via the published Zoom link on the agenda.
