What is a Strategic Plan?
Strategic planning is a long-term roadmap that helps government agencies turn their vision into reality. It ensures that every project, budget, and decision directly supports the community’s needs. The Strategic Plan is grounded in the Town’s Vision, Mission, and Core Values. Together, these elements guide decision-making, organizational actions, and long-term success for the Camp Verde community.
The Town of Camp Verde Strategic Plan was originally developed by Council and staff (Strategic Plan FY25-FY30) in January of 2024 and updated during a one-day session in March 2026. At the conclusion of the one-day session, the FY2027 Action Plan was developed.

Community Infrastructure: The public structures and facilities that support community and economic development. Infrastructure expansion and maintenance is planned through fiscally responsible policies.
Effective Government: An awareness of citizen needs and providing necessary services through fiscal responsibility, transparency, innovative business practices, use of new technology, investing in employees, and leveraging Town partnerships.
