Service Rates & Fees

Town Council approved Resolution 2023-1122 Adopting Fees for Town Water and Wastewater Services for Fiscal Years 2023-2024, 2024-2025, 2025-2026, 2026-2027 and 2027-2028 on November 1, 2023.  The new utilities rates are to help fund new water infrastructure, including funding for debt recovery, water storage tanks, production wells, water quality treatment facilities and increased fire protection:

Wastewater & Effluent Rate Study

Water and Wastewater Final Rate Study, Effective January 1, 2024

The Town of Camp Verde engaged Wildan Financial Services to conduct a water and wastewater study and long-range term financial plan for the Town’s utilities. The new study develops a long-term plan that will enable the Town to recover sufficient funds to meet operating expenses, capital outlays, debt services, and utility coverage requirements. Presentations regarding the new study were made to Town Council on 05-25-2023 and 08-16-2023. A Notice of Intent for Proposed Water and Wastewater Rates, Fees, or Service Charges was issued and posted on the Town Website on August 23-2023. A newspaper ad was published in the Verde Independent/Camp Verde Bugle on Sunday, October 8 and a press release was sent to Paige Daniels at the Verde Independent on Tuesday, October 17. A notice of intent for the proposed utilities rate increase has been posted on the Town website and on social media. A presentation was made to the View’s Homeowner Association, meetings were held with serval citizens, and a public open house was completed on October 26 from 4 to 6 PM at the Business Resource & Innovation Center at 385 S. Main Street. Town staff gathered public input regarding the rate increases and educated citizens on why the rate increases are needed.
