The Streets Division is responsible for the care, repair, and maintenance of all Town-owned streets, alleys, curbs, gutters, sidewalks and drainage structures. The Division provides the highest quality public roads through the prudent use of resources, technology, innovations, teamwork and coordination with Town employees and public agencies.
Road Construction, Repair, and Maintenance
Our crews maintain Town streets through grading, pothole repairs, road resurfacing, and the upkeep of sidewalks, curbs, gutters, streetlights, traffic control devices, and other roadway infrastructure.
Storm Drain Maintenance & Flood Prevention
To help protect the community during monsoon season and severe weather events, crews clean and flush storm drains and install and maintain Town-owned culverts that help manage stormwater and reduce flooding risks.
Right-of-Way Maintenance
The Streets Division keeps roadsides and public rights-of-way safe and attractive through routine tree trimming, vegetation management, and mowing.
General Public Maintenance
From painting roadway markings and maintaining public facilities to mowing Town properties, our team performs a variety of tasks that enhance the appearance and functionality of public spaces.
Signage & Traffic Control
Crews install, inspect, repair, and maintain street signs, traffic control devices, and public lighting to help ensure safe travel throughout Camp Verde.
Heavy Equipment Operations
Our highly trained operators use a variety of specialized equipment, including dump trucks, backhoes, street sweepers, graders, plows, and other heavy machinery to support construction projects and roadway maintenance activities.
Emergency Response & Recovery
The Streets Division plays a critical role during emergencies and natural disasters by assisting with response efforts, roadway access, cleanup operations, and infrastructure repairs to help the community recover quickly.
