Camp Verde Sports ComplexPublic Works Mission Statement
The primary mission of the Camp Verde Public Works Department is to provide and maintain, within the Town’s available resources, adequate and safe transportation infrastructure in a fair and equitable manner while supporting the Town’s economic agenda. The department provides engineering services and reviews and inspects public projects for the Town.
Our Goals
Short-TermWe're focused on enhancing community amenities, improving infrastructure, and planning for future growth through several key projects:
Sports Complex Water Supply (90% Complete)
Finalizing the water infrastructure needed to support the Sports Complex and future recreational opportunities.
Sports Complex Phase 1B (75% Complete)
Continuing development of the next phase of the Sports Complex to expand recreational facilities and services for residents and visitors.
SMART Grant Project (Currently in Design)
Advancing design work for grant-funded transportation and infrastructure improvements that will enhance connectivity and safety.
Main Street Improvements (Design Complete)
Completing the design phase for planned improvements that will enhance the appearance, accessibility, and functionality of Main Street.
Parson's Riverfront Preserve Parking Area
Designing and constructing a new parking area to improve visitor access and accommodate increasing use of this popular community destination.
Long-Term
Looking ahead, we are committed to major roadway improvements that will support growth, improve traffic flow, and increase safety throughout the community.
Montezuma Castle Highway Improvements
Complete roadway enhancements north of Black Bridge to improve safety, mobility, and long-term infrastructure reliability.
Verde Lakes Drive Improvements
Construct roadway improvements along Verde Lakes Drive between Highway 260 and Catclaw to improve access, traffic circulation, and overall roadway conditions.
Building for the Future
These projects represent the Town's commitment to investing in infrastructure, recreation, transportation, and quality of life for our residents and visitors. Through careful planning and strategic investments, we are working to build a stronger, safer, and more connected Camp Verde.
