General Information

  • The next primary election is scheduled for August 4, 2020 and the general election is scheduled for November 3, 2020.
  • Candidate packets are now available. There will be the Mayor and three Council Members seats open for election. The term of the Mayor is 2 years and the Council Members are 4-year terms.
  • A candidate for local office must be a qualified elector at the time of election. Any such candidate, in addition to other requirements, must be 18 years of age or more on or before the date of election, must have resided in the town limits for one year preceding the election, and restored civil rights if having been convicted of a felony.

If you have moved, changed your name, or want to change your party, you must re-register to vote.

Did you know that your name could be removed from the Voter Registration Rolls if you have not voted in the last two consecutive FEDERAL elections? You can contact Yavapai County Voter Registration at 639-8100 to confirm your registration. Voter registration forms are available at Town Hall, the Camp Verde Library, or the Post Office. You can also register and/or make changes to your voter information online at
