COVID-19 Updates from Mayor German

06 May News

From Yavapai County Community Health Services and VVMC: Yavapai County currently has 153 confirmed cases of COVID-19, there have been 2 deaths and 12 recovered and 3 tested positive for antibody. VVMC has zero confirmed cases hospitalized and 4 persons under investigation. The YCCHS Epidemiologist is investigating the death the Arizona Department of Health reported to determine if the deceased was a resident of Yavapai County, or COVID-related.

Yavapai county remains at less than 5% positive ratio based on the number of those tested. That is below the state average and much less than many other counties in Arizona. Please continue to your efforts to physically distance and continue with responsible decision making. You are the best person to be responsible for your health and safety!
